Wedding Funnies for Stress Relief

In the spirit of uplifting ourselves out of the doldrums of planning (not to mention the economy), does anyone have good embarrassing wedding moments? Things you now swear not to do?

I once heard a story about the worst wedding someone had been to. She said that she was 8 ½ months pregnant (not anyone’s fault, but adds to the drama of the story), it was 95 degrees in July, and the wedding was in the backyard on the porch. Guests were not allowed inside, and there was only a tiny tent for shade. Attendants were barefoot across the splinter filled porch, and the reception was a vegan pot luck with not enough food to feed guests. As the bride and groom were driving away, a swarm of bees overtook the yard, only to be stopped moments later by a downpour. What I loved most was that she said everyone in the wedding never mentioned a thing to the bride or groom and after returning from their honeymoon, the couple was still oblivious.

If a Picture is Worth 1000 Words

So, if a picture is worth 1,000 words, and a video is essentially a large number of still pictures strung together- how many words is a video worth?

Videography is a growing trend among brides these days. I’ve seen a number of wedding videos. Some better than others. Audio always leaving something to be desired.

It’s hard for me to pinpoint, but there is something that rubs me the wrong way about having videographer document your wedding.
