Having a perfectly even wedding party was something that I thought would be vital to a wedding day. It ends up, having our wedding party perfectly uneven worked out better for us. After the ceremony and before dinner was served, we had a little bit of time to take the wedding party portraits. Granted they weren’t the most formal or organized, but we love how they turned out!

Our engagement is OVER!! I am so happy to say that, because being engaged is not nearly as fun as being MARRIED! I know I have only been married a whole week and a half, but the wedding planning, moving in together, and anxiety of people looking at me on the day of the wedding is over. I can now relax with my husband and we can get back into routine of our lives before we were engaged. Yay!
There were so many fabulous events that took place over the last two weeks. Sightseeing with friends in LA and Orange County, lots of fun lunches and dinners, making favors with my matron of honor, family get-togethers, Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding, and our Honeymoon! The wedding was by far my most favorite of course and we can’t wait to share more pictures with everyone.

Here is a little peek at our ceremony during prayer, taken by my close friend David.

I was actually very surprised with our visit to Temecula, Ca. I hadn’t been there in about 10 years, but I think its going to be perfect for bringing that Texas flare to our big day.

Hello Ladies!
First of all, Happy New Year to everyone! I’m very excited about starting a new chapter of my life in 2009. My name is Dandelion Bud and I am blooming in Houston, Tx.
I am originally from Southern California and the Dude (oh he will love that I called him that) is from Houston. We are saying “I do” in Temecula, Ca on June 13, 2009! Our wedding will be full of family traditions, vintage finds, do-it-yourself fun, with a little Austin, Texas feel (where Dandelion Dude went to college), all in the California sun. There will be lots of surprises on this journey since this is the first wedding I’ve planned. But its not the first wedding I’ve been in, though I’m pretty sure its the last. My bridal brigade is all married and I’m the last one, so lets see if I can remember their tough moments and try to make them smoother for myself. And make this a FUN experience!!
I am looking forward to letting you all into my world of planning and seeing your ideas as you all blossom into wives.
