At the local Wedding Show we found our wedding baker and cake decorator, Robbi Broussard from Creative Cake Designs. As always she was serving the most delicious and delightful cake samples to the crowd. I’ve written about our talented baker on a previous post. In my last post, I wasn’t able to show samples of her work. Take a look at the following images that show many of her works of art.

While searching for the right look for our Big Day, I’ve received the same advice from many wedding professionals. Create the look at home or at the venue first and then make a decision if you’ll go forward with the idea. I’ve been waiting for the big local wedding show for months. I’m writing (again) about the Seattle Wedding Show. My fiancé purchased the tickets and I will be attending the event with him. Many prospective vendors go to this event to showcase their products and services. Yes, we’ve booked many of our vendors, but look forward to iron out some details at this event.

For example, we are planning to register the groom, groomsmen and ring bearer attire at the Seattle Wedding Show. We already visited the Men’s Warehouse, but gathered all of the pertinent information in order to establish the order at the show because they will have a huge discount for the guys. Yes ladies, I encourage you to research this information because sometimes these local bridal shows have some really good discounts that you just can’t resist.

If you are engaged and living in the Pacific Northwest, you should mark your 2010 calendar to go to the Seattle Wedding Show on January 16th and 17th. This show will be located at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center. You can visit their website for more information regarding the hours of the event, as well as, who will have a booth at the show.

A couple of weeks before the event, usually around mid December, you can visit one of sponsor’s stores that will have the program with the list and map of all the vendors that will present their products and/or services at the show. If you are interested in visiting some of the show sponsors, you can check out the following link by clicking here.
