Hello Hello Buds and Blossoms!
When thinking about what I wanted to share with you after the wedding, the first thing that came to mind was to talk about doing my own flowers, since back when I mentioned here on the blog that I would be doing this, I got some opposition and concerned replies. Let me tell you, my friends, doing my own flowers was awesome. But I agree, not for everyone.

Here’s how it went:
I ordered 3 varieties of flowers on fiftyflowers.com about 3 weeks before the wedding to be delivered to our venue 2 days before the ceremony. I sent her the correspondence from my previous consults (which I posted for your benefit too here), and of course all my inspiration photos, also found here, and she responded with this:

I have been seeing so many great DIY projects around the web! They are not my ideas, but I thought I would share some things that are $ friendly and way cool!
First up, tealight covers:

I love this idea! I have lots of extra yarn hanging around the house and plan to try this over the next month. Since the ceremony space is dimly lit, I’m going to try to give some lighting this way. I think it produces a dim glow compared to a single flame.
Next up organza flowers:
