Before we event started the bridal shower, I asked my bridesmaids to gather so I could give them something. I purchased a small gift for all of them over a year ago and I was so anxious to give it to them.

As they were opening their gifts my heart was beating very fast. I felt like that moment was the time where they were officially my bridesmaids. I was honoring their position on my wedding and this gift was a symbol of my affection and respect towards them.

I am fortunate enough to have two wonderful big sisters as well as an incredible soon-to-be little sister-in-law.  There has never a doubt in my mind (and probably not in theirs either) that the three of them would be standing next to me when I marry Gardenia Dude.  So, I really wanted to find a cute, unique way to ask these girls (who probably already knew they were going to be in my wedding) if they wanted to be my bridesmaids.
