Dresses for My Girls |

Last night was the much anticipated Bridesmaid dress appointment for my girls. We had a bit of a setback getting to this point, but the end result has turned out great!
Originally a friend of mine, who works for a wedding gown manufacturer, offered to make my bridesmaid dresses. It would have been her present to me along with a great addition to her portfolio. I had taken the girls last winter to get their measurements done and to discuss their personalized designs with my friend. I was so thrilled that the girls would be getting a custom dress that not only fit their bodies perfectly but also fit their style so that they would be completely comfortable in what they were wearing.
During this process, my friend who was going to make the dresses became pregnant and about a month ago told me that it would be too hard for her to complete them. Since nothing had been started I quickly had to move to Plan B: visit our local bridal shop.
