![]() From oncewed.com If I were a recently-engaged Bud, I would jump on this contest! Yep, you read it right: a group of vendors affiliated with The Not Wedding are offering a free Atlanta wedding to one lucky couple. Vendors include photographers Our Labor of Love, stylist Joy Thigpen, letterpress from DolciOdille, dress by Once Wed, menswear by Sid Mashburn and catering by Sun In My Belly, among others. And the wedding will get a write-up in Weddings Unveiled magazine! The couple need not be from Atlanta, but the wedding will be. To enter, fill out this survey. Of course, there is a catch: If you are chosen as the winner of TheWedding give-away, you and your fiancé must commit to getting married on May 31, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. You must be willing to limit your guest list to fifty attendees, and subject all wedding plans including but not limited to styling, photography, and location to The Wedding vendors and professionals. You must also be willing to have your wedding photos used for editorial and advertising purposes. But if you’re willing to roll with it, it sounds like a great opportunity!
Attention all you buds out there in the garden! Marriott Bethesda North is giving away a luxurious Revive® Linen Set to one of you lucky readers. Check out the Contest Page for more details.

Okay ladies, we all want to have a beautiful smile on our wedding day. I stumbled upon a way to have my teeth whitened for free! I was at my dentist for a regular appointment, and as I was checking out, the receptionist asked me about my upcoming wedding, how far was I in planning, etc. She is also getting married this year. She asked me if I wanted to get my teeth whitened, and I had thought about it (we used over-the-counter kits a while back before our engagement photo shoot) so I asked how much it cost. She said they provide the service free for their brides! She said it really does not cost them that much to do it, and they think it’s a nice gift for the brides in their practice.
