How We Met:

We met at a country concert, through a mutual friend. He wouldn't talk to me for months until I worked up the courage to go up to him and strike a conversation about our dogs :)

The Engagement Story:

We had talked about getting engaged, but he knew I wanted to be suprised. After buying the ring, he was trying to figure out a way to pop the question in a creative way that I wouldn't have any idea that he might be doing it. He had tried to plan for 3 weeks to do it at our kickball games on the field, but we kept getting rained out. Finally, after the 3rd week of our games being cancelled, he said "hey let's go get sushi" (knowing I wouldn't ever say no to sushi) and he proposed at the restaurant after we ate dinner. Both of us could not even sleep that night and my stomach was so in knots for 2 days because I just couldn't believe it. I knew I was truly in love and it was meant to be.
