About Me:

I'm a photographer in my Senior year of college. We'll be getting married in about a year and a half and it's time to start hammering out the details! We're on a pretty tight budget, but that's nothing but a challenge to me. :)

How We Met:

Fiance was a cashier at a music store and I thought he was just the cutest guy I'd ever seen and HAD to talk to him. I was 16, and he was 19. I bought a 96 cent bracelet and as he was checking me out (AND checking me out, wink wink) we talked about our shared musical interests and took off from there! It will be 5 years on November 17th, 2011. :)

The Engagement Story:

We've known since very early in our relationship that we wanted to be married, but had to wait for obvious age reasons. We also agreed from the beginning that our education came first. Fiance knew I wanted to wait until my Junior year of college to be engaged and that's exactly what happened! It was the biggest surprise of my life (not an easy feat, and Fiance has yet to be able to surprise me since haha). I was convinced it was just a regular night, having dinner with my family, friends, and Fiance's parents. Everyone circled around the dining room and joined hands for the blessing. That was when he popped the question (although I don't remember much from my head spinning!) and I can't picture a better moment than in a room with all my close loved ones to witness it. We chose to have a long engagement to accommodate my graduation and it has been the best decision! I'm so excited and blessed to be on this journey with my best friend. :)
