About Me:

I am a newspaper editor in a small town near the DFW area in Texas. My fiance is a funeral director and mortician in a neighboring town. We met at our church, where we will be married in March. We are both very involved there, and I do a lot of activities such as teaching with the children. I love DIY projects, so most of our wedding is going to be done that way. We are having a brown and teal (and ivory) wedding and a country-themed reception.

How We Met:

Cymbie Dude and I met in the Singles class at our church.

The Engagement Story:

We went to eat at Ama Lur in the Gaylord Texan. The ring was on a plate with a cake that had "Marry me" written in chocolate on it.
