How We Met:

We met at a mutual friend's birthday party in a club in NYC - we hate telling people that though. He is Italian and I lived in Italy, so we had a lot to talk about. Before he left, he asked me for my phone number and was very impressed when I was able to navigate my way through his Italian phone. He called me the next day and asked me to join him for a drink...

The Engagement Story:

He planned a weekend in Newport, RI, where we dream of having a summer home some day. We stayed in a beautiful and historic bed & breakfast overlooking the water. He proposed to me in the morning while we were lying in bed. He had the ring under his pillow. It was the best moment of my life, but I could barely speak and I couldn't look at the ring. It was all too good!
