About Me:

I'm a fun loving girl who is super excited about getting married! This wedding planning business is tons of fun but also a bit stressful. I honestly can't wait until next June to be laying on the beach, drink in hand with my wonderful husband! Besides wedding planning, I love my job, I'm working on my Master's and I enjoy spending time with my puppy!

How We Met:

We actually met on a blind date! Our mutual friend decided that we should meet. So after some awkward emails we finally exchanged numbers and decided we’d meet casually at a park. After walking around and talking, we decided to sit at a picnic table, get to know each other a little more, and watch this group of kids play kickball. After a little while and a couple more dates, we started dating and the park became our “spot”, where we would frequently go and sit at the same picnic table every time we visited, we even carved our names into the side of the table (see engagement story for more about this table.....).

The Engagement Story:

One random Sunday we were out running errands. We stopped at my parent's house, Home Goods, and on the way over to my friends, Apricot Dude suggested we stop by the park where we met. Of course, I didn't think anything of it since we did this so often. We got out of the car and walked our typical path towards our table. As we were walking to the table, Apricot Dude let me walk ahead a little and I saw that somebody else had carved something into OUR table next to our names. I was not a happy camper!! Apricot Dude just smiled and told me to read it. By the time I read it and turned around, Apricot Dude had gotten down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Turns out, he went back and carved "Will U Marry Me?" next to our names. Hands down the best moment of our lives.......
