Shedding for the Wedding!

What are some of the workout routines you used?  Did they work?  If you are already married, do you keep up with them?

I want to say that I didn’t download every app in existence for weight loss, calorie counting and yoga routines, but I totally did.  And it was definitely worth it.  Not only did I fit into my dress with no alterations, I am STILL working out weekly and on a good eating routine.

The best advice I was given, and try to give, is do not call it a diet. It is a lifestyle change for the better.  Give up soda and make eating fast food a rare dinner.  Plus, don’t give up after the honeymoon.

What are you best weight loss tips?  Favorite exercise routines?

    I love the tip of not calling it a diet… let’s face it, everyone hates diets! Sometimes just making a number of small changes can really add up. Like, giving up soda for water, always park far away, or always take the stairs instead of the elevator. Don’t forget to start small, if you way overdo it the first day of your workout you’ll be way too sore to continue. Start the first week by committing to 3 days of exercise 30 mins. per day. This way you won’t be too sore, and if you feel great add another day the next week or 10 minutes onto the 3 days you’re already doing.
    Another great tip is just be mindful of what you are putting in your mouth. Make smart choices, eat more fruits and veggies, cut out junk food. If you eat just a little healthy snack every few hours you’ll never get so hungry that you binge eat & always eat breakfast!
