World’s Largest Shoe Store! |
|

After multiple fruitless shoe shopping trips my sister, my cousin and myself piled into the bride mobile (aka my car) for a field trip to The World’s Largest Shoe Store… or Reyers in Sharon Pennsylvania. We were bound to find something for both of the Lilac sisters to wear when wed!
Whether or not Reyers is really the world’s largest shoe store, I don’t know. But it is fairly big and the signs say so! (Visit them online at reyers.com)
Although Lilac Sister and I tried on many crazy shoes such as this one (it looked too weird on me to take a real photo)
The Coloriffics Uptown shoe, photo from coloriffics.com
And this beauty that was not the correct green:

I settled on a silver fun shoe that fit my requirements:
-at least 3in heel (3.25in to be exact)
-comfortable
-no sliding
-$50 or under(final price: $15 and no sales tax!)
-Silver, green, or white
Here they are:
Lilac sister settled on a pair of peep-toe silver Coloriffics.
What was your shoe shopping criteria?

I love the little ruffles on your shoes! I really didn’t have any criteria for my shoes, as I plan on going barefoot for our ceremony – so they didn’t really need to be “special”. I initially bought a pair of peep-toed, nude-leathered, wooden wedged shoes that are only about an inch high. Those were “the shoes” for months, until I saw a pair of espadrille wedges on clearance at Target a couple weeks ago! I’ve since bought them and now have 2 pairs of wedding shoes. We’ll see what kind of mood I’m in come reception time.

Love the tall shoes that you didn’t go with, but good choice!
When I read the title, I said to myself, “no she couldnt mean…. SHE DOES! Reyers!” I went to college about 5 miles from that shoe store, and I always pass signs for it, havent been in years, but if you havent gotten your dress yet or your mom’s or BM’s Dress, across the town is a place called THE WINNER its really an incredible place for all dresses, at fabulous prices. We almost got my BM’s Dress there when she got married, and most of our prom dresses may have com from there.
Check it out if your back in town…

@Moon Bud: We definitely made a stop by The Winner, just to check it out. But we didn’t stay long due to their lack of a/c and the extremely hot day! I’ve got my wedding dress but I may snag the MOG and take her there to look for her dress.

I really like the shoes you chose! You may use my shoes for the blog too if you like. I know people are always looking for ideas. I will send you the photo. Looking at all the shoes side by side, I think you chose the prettiest ones! GREAT JOB!

* at least 3 inches heel height
* minimal/no slippage
* sturdy heel ( I have a big dress don’t wanna topple over!)
