I will preface this post by saying: my wedding dress does not have pockets, and I’m ok with that.

It seems like designers are fascinated with giving the ladies a place to put their things during a wedding. Wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses are popping up with pockets from almost every line.wedding wedding attire, trans

This may be a convenient design, but is it a decision maker? Do pockets make or break a dress in the bride’s mind?

As a maid of honor, you could put the groom’s wedding band in the pocket. My cousin pointed out that tissues would be a great pocket filler.

If you were to have pockets in your wedding dress, what would you put in them?

I think it might have been nice to have had pockets in my bridal gown…but I had plenty of bridesmaids to help me keep track of the little things like lip gloss. Now, as a bridesmaid, pockets are awesome! I think the trend is great for the bridesmaids dresses!

I’m not a fan of the pockets. That’s what the purses are for!
