So, as I mentioned to you in a previous blog, my life has quickly taken a turn for the busier. Nevertheless, I’ve managed to keep up with the wedding planning to the best of my ability. I’ll start with the food (since it is one of my favorite things). We met with our wonderful caterer, Fusions Cuisine, for a full tasting about a month ago. When we first selected this caterer, they did a tasting for us, but not with the menu items that we’d selected. This time around, the chef (who is also ½ owner of the business, with his wife heading up the business arm of the company) literally prepared every little thing on our menu for us to try. I’m talking each one of our 5 appetizers (some of which are very intricate), each one of the 3 noodle dishes that will be in our noodle box display, all our entrée selections, and finally each last item on our dessert buffet menu. We were shocked at the work that was put into this tasting, which I would best describe as a mini Gardenia reception! However, best of all was how please we were and are with the food. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious and all I can ask is that the food turns out the same way on the big day. Luckily, I have a ton of faith in Fusions Cuisine!
