As I mentioned before, a few weeks ago, we went to see our caterer, Fusions Cuisine, for a full tasting. While we were there, we also went over our linen, chair and table choices. While this seems like a very simple task, sometimes too many choices can really make things a lot more difficult. I knew I wanted primarily off-white linens, dark wood chiavari chairs, and some other accent linens to really make the room pop. Well, who knew how many off-white/ivory linen options there are? I certainly didn’t! Satin, silk, dupioni, lace, lined, ruffled, flowered, you name it, there is an ivory linen option out there with it! So, being a fan of most things plain, we selected a very basic ivory satin fabric with no embellishments whatsoever, dark wood chiavari chairs, and coordinating ivory seat cushions/napkins. I think this will give me the elegant, yet sophisticated look I’m going for. Then, we’ve opted to do accent charcoal pintuck tables to make a bit of a statement. I am really excited about this look; I just hope it all comes together the way I envision!
