While browsing through Weddingwire’s vendors the other day, it dawned on me that I should probably start thinking about a place to get my hair done the day of my wedding. You see, I’m kinda a tomboy when it comes to getting my hair done (though I’m trying to get better about it) and am not that into my hair in general (most likely because it does not really do much), so I do not have a real hair stylist in D.C.
Anyways, thanks to Weddingwire, I realized I should get on this mission and started reading through some salon reviews. When I came across the great reviews for a salon in town called Andre Chreky, it rang a bell — my sister had given me a gift certificate to get a facial there a few years ago and I really enjoyed my experience.
Turns out, they have a whole “Wedding Bells” section that caters to exactly what I was looking for — bridal hair & make-up & bridal party beauty on the big day. I immediately called and scheduled time on September 25th for me, my bridal party, and moms to get pretty.
The whole thing seems a bit surreal to me though as we’re 6 months out — but things book up fast in D.C., so I figured — why not?
