“The Price You Pay to Feel Beautiful on Your Big Day!” |

With only 109 days until I say “I do” I am suddenly found struggling with finding the perfect hair color. When I was a little girl my hair was the perfect shade of blonde. But as I got older, the perfect shade of blonde became a distant memory. In high school I dreadfully began highlighting my hair. The time, maintenance, and cost always drove me crazy. After moving to NYC I asked my new stylist how to create the same look with less maintenance. He suggested I do a single process and just get the highlights every few months. This new routine was working wonderful for quite a few years….well up until 110 days before my wedding.
With my 1st bridal shower this weekend, this was not the ideal time for me to suddenly have hair color issues. The stress of looking perfect for all your wedding related celebrations can make a girl crazy. I came home from the salon in tears that I would not look my best for my shower this coming weekend. I woke up today (with only 109 days until the big day) called my stylist and said “You must fix this NOW!” Back to the salon I went tonight (reluctantly missing my pre-paid well needed pilates class) and got my hair “fixed.” There will be many things I cannot control about my wedding day, but these sorts of things I can take control of. To feel beautiful on your big day is very important to most brides to be. I now feel relieved and ready to shine at my bridal shower on Sunday (only of course after I get a manicure, pedicure, eyebrow wax and spray tan all before Sunday! LOL!)
