Working on Our Wedding Website |

Yes, I am working on our wedding website. I did a lot of research on this department. Therefore, I searched and searched for the best site that fits my needs and level of comprehension. I browsed through the following alternatives:
Wedding Tracker from the nest
Wedshare
ewedding
The Knot
Wedding Wire
And the winner is…Wedding Wire! I am so thankful for those that created, updated and maintain this wonderful resource for brides. The templates that they offer are gorgeous and can even be matched with your wedding invitations from the vendors they work with. One of the templates is from M herself which is the Martha Stewart Collection! They even have a Destination Series and…the Wedding Paper Divas are in the menu selection as well.

I feel that this website will mostly benefit my guests from out of town because they offer features such as mapquest and alternatives for entertainment and where to shop. My only feedback would be to have the ability of playing one song while my guests browse through our website.
However, if I haven’t mastered this part of the wedding website, can someone show me how to set that up please? What I’ve learned so far in the music section is that you can either have one song play at the main page or you can set up one song for each page your guests click on the website.
For more information about Wedding Wire’s wedding websites, please click here. May I also mention that in addition to the BridalBuds of course that Wedding Wire has a very resourceful blog. It has some really cool articles about local contests that brides may enter, as well as images of gorgeous weddings with inspirational color themes and settings.

Have fun!

Thanks for this. Very useful. There are plenty more options that you missed…
http://www.momentville.com – this is my favorite because it is free, has really nice templates, and is super easy to use
http://www.mywedding.com – free and nice templates
http://www.weddingwindow.com – pay, but let you customize a lot of things
