Now that my dress has been found, I have moved onto the beauty and fitness portion of the show! Well, more like just the beauty, I am still trying to get myself up and motivated to work out but it’s not going well! I have started to browse the vast internet in search of the perfect hairstyle for my wedding. I realized when searching, the most important thing is to take note of the models hair texture. You may LOVE the style, but is your hair long enough, thick enough, etc. to make it happen.

Kate Hudson from Bride Wars
Just like with your wedding gown, you hair can take on a style of its own. From my research, I have narrowed the field down to three categories which I think most styles fall under: Classic, Glamorous and Beachy/Bohemian.
Classic hairstyles: Timeless and elegant like the French twist and chignon. Think Reese Witherspoon and Kate Winslet.

Glamorous hairstyles: Sleek, chic and dramatic, hair has polished volume and/or anything that sparkles. Think Sarah Jessica Parker or Beyonce.

Clockwise from top left: InStyle Weddings, Wedding Channel, The Knot, The Knot, InStyle Weddings and Brides.com
Bohemian/Beach hairstyles: Relaxed and whimsical like loose flowing curls or breezy updos. Think Cameron Diaz or Kate Hudson.

which is your favorite of the 3 styles? and your favorite overall?
Being a beach wedding, I like the Bohemian/Beach hairstyles, and the Classic the best. My favorite of the bunch is the Large Project Wedding Beach style…. I’m all brunette, and dont know if I have the lovely color variation that the woman in the photo has… so I’m not sure its for me, but its so unique!

I love the beach wedding styles. Three friends of mine this year have gotten married on the beach and wore the messy type updos. I especially love the updo with the flower accessory and will do something similar for my wedding this summer.
I found this website which offers a number of summer updo inspirations for those looking
