Will You Be My Bridesmaid? |

I am fortunate enough to have two wonderful big sisters as well as an incredible soon-to-be little sister-in-law. There has never a doubt in my mind (and probably not in theirs either) that the three of them would be standing next to me when I marry Gardenia Dude. So, I really wanted to find a cute, unique way to ask these girls (who probably already knew they were going to be in my wedding) if they wanted to be my bridesmaids.
To brainstorm, I did what most would do and turned to Google. What I managed to find were these adorable cards that ask that very question in creative, unique ways: Will you be my bridesmaid?

To go along with the cards, I bought each a pair of Bridesmaid/Maid of Honor Hanky Pankies
Hanky Panky "Bridesmaid" at www.bloomingdales.com
and put them into a personalized cosmetics bag, which ultimately made for a very cute and practical gift for each of my special ladies.

Now, all I can hope is that all my other wedding decisions will be as easy and fun as this was!

Thanks for sharing your cute and thoughtful idea. I shared my own proposal to my bridesmaids here:

It was so fun seeing their reactions and showing them just how much they meant to me.

Gardenia, I love all your personalized touches!
I too created something personalized for my bridesmaids.
I bought a pocket fold envelope and when they opened it there was a picture of me and the respective bridesmaid in it.
Inserted into the bottom pocket was a letter reminiscing about our friendship and how much they meant to me and then at the end I asked them to be my bridesmaid.
I think asking your friends/family to be part of your wedding party by giving them something with a personalized touch really shows how much thought you put into asking them.
I got some tears from some of my bridesmaids when they read their letter.

I know that your attendants were thrilled with their gifts and most importantly being with you as you marry. Congrats for such a unique and personalized way of asking them. It really shows that you show a lot of attention to ALL of your details.
