Wedding Rubber Stamps |

I’ve been working on my save the dates for a while and am finally at the point of printing & addressing envelopes (hooray)! This has been a really fun project, but printing envelopes has been a bigger issue than I’d originally thought. Weird, I know, but most printers are charging us around $90 to print our return address on the back flap of the envelopes. I thought this was an outrageous amount to charge and immediately started looking for alternatives.
Of course I turned to Etsy where I was delighted to run into Kelly’s wonderful stamps at Purple Lemon Designs.
She makes these amazing 1.5” x 1.5” monogrammed rubber stamps that are a great way to customize all wedding correspondence – she even incorporates the wedding date into the design!

It did not take me long to figure out that getting this custom-made rubber stamp (with our wedding date) & an ink pad would save me a lot of money on my STDs (and also my invitations)! So, I ordered one and am absolutely thrilled with the design. Check out her Etsy store for more information.

My husband and I used custom monogrammed stamps on our STD’s and we were so happy with the finished product! Not only do you save money doing this, but it really doesn’t take too much time.
Furthermore, I am an advocate of anything that looks “fresh” and puts a new spin on an otherwise traditional option. What I think is even more astounding is that the custom monograms that a person can use on wedding stamps can look more chic and elegant than a printer spitting out return addresses on envelopes.
Thanks for posting this!
