I’m so happy to share some details from our reception! You will recognize things we have been talking about for the last year on this blog. The flowers were all done by a local flower shop, Colonial Flowers. All of the paper goods were done by yours truly of course. (I never want use a paper cutter again, EVER)
We used black table linens and black chair covers to create a dramatic setting to show off the beautiful white and green flowers.

My MOH’s bouquet:

I made the seating cards myself. The front had the person’s name and meal choice. The back side had our wedding ‘logo’ and their table number. They worked perfectly in the end!

The menu was created to look like our invitations:

For a little added fun, we had some tiny 1″ buttons made up, which were displayed in a glass vase for guests to take! It was fun seeing everyone wearing them throughout the night.

Our favours…mmmm a delicious butter tart made by my Grandma. Butter tarts are a Canadian staple, and my Grandma is well known for hers!

We also had a photo-taking area with a fun backdrop and a box of props!

We had an absolute blast at our reception. If you enjoyed the details, let me know! Is anyone planning to use similar details as we did?
