So Dahlia Bridesmaids came in this past weekend for a full schedule of activities. I’m only now recovering. I have to say, this was the most fun I have had in quite some time and the highlight of all the wedding planning so far. If you call it that.

My lovely sister’s flight was canceled, and couldn’t fly in until the following morning, so it felt like a delayed start. Friday morning, BM 1 arrived with MOH/sister and we started on our way. After a brunch Brooklyn style, we walked around the lovely neighborhood of Soho, on the lookout for sunglasses and a bottle of wine.

Both were procured, and off we went dancing with BM 2 who had arrived. BM1 and BM2 had never met, but quickly became friends.

Saturday, we went to the spa. Juvenex, a 24 hour spa in Korea town, is quite an experience. BM’s got the hour massage while sister and I received the most extensive body scrub ever.

Afterwards, we went shopping (another post later on that). And then set up camp for the fireworks. What a site! Dahlia Dude met us and talked a bit with everyone. It’s nice to have a bit of time before the wedding to bond. I think it will make it less awkward when the time comes.

Sunday went way too quickly. And away they went! What was the best part? Spending time with the ladies. Unfortunately, BM 3 had a family emergency and wasn’t with us, and BM4/stepsister already had other plans. BUT, I’m most excited to have them all meet at the wedding.
