Dahlia MOH/sister arrives this evening. Let me tell you how excited I am. Like so excited, I skipped to work (literally) and then told everyone, very loudly, that “MY SISTER IS COMING TODAY”.

In addition, the lovely Dahlia ‘Maids are arriving as well. Really, it’s three of the five. What an exciting weekend. I have insisted many times over that this should not turn into a Bachlorette Party. Why? Because I would drop dead from embarrassment if anyone showed up with naughty accessories for a night on the town. It is also not a Bridal Shower because I do not want gifts. What is it that I want? A weekend with the ladies. Spa time. A nice dinner. Some fireworks on the Hudson River. And a little bit of dancing. I cannot wait.

From what I’m hearing, the bridesmaid dresses are arriving. Dahlia Stepsister tried hers on, and aside from minor alterations, it fits. And, she said it is really pretty. How wonderful! Next week, I should have a full report on how these turned out!
