I have been pretty open about not being the craftiest bride out there. Luckily, I have some awesome friends and family members who were all too happy to pitch in! Above you can see three of my aunts, my brother’s MIL and my mother hard at work assembling programs.

I know I didn’t coin the term Do It Someone Else but I feel OK about appropriating it, since it really fits my situation. The programs started from a Jody Prouse template, which I tweaked and Plumeria Dude redid in Adobe Illustrator. He e-mailed the result to Plumeria Mom, who then bought the paper and supplies (card stock in soft white and watermelon pink, raffia and palm leaf fans), printed them out and cut the program sheets, cover sheets and logo sheets.

I think they turned out very nicely– don’t mind the water drop on the corner of the palm tree logo up there! This was the only one I managed to grab for myself.

I was so very thankful to have help leading up to and during the wedding festivities. I daresay that I don’t know how I would have pulled it all together without everyone’s generosity with their time and talents. So brides, don’t be afraid to delegate to talented friends and family– you’d be surprised at the results.
