We’re baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!  And we’re married!!!!!  …Which makes me Periwinkle BLOSSOM now… yikes!  I feel I must apologize to the garden for my long absence.  I hope you can all forgive me though, because I have LOTS of details and wedding tips to share! 

In all seriousness, I do apologize for being MIA.  Our wedding simply flew by and what was in fact a loooooooooooooooong honeymoon (see exhibit A below) felt like it zipped right past us!  We were married on May 23 in Wading River, Long Island.  After bidding our awesome family and friends adieu following a fun-filled weekend, we set off for our honeymoon.  We spent 24 glorious days in Hawaii, and missed out on all the rain NY had to offer while we were gone.  Unfortunately (and inexplecibly) so did the plants we left out on our balcony….

Even though it rained for approximately 21 of the 24 days we were away, it seems as though this little guy didn’t manage to catch any of it.  Poor thing. 

And now back to the real world am I… and ready to share my entire post-bridal brain with the garden!!!  Stay tuned for lots of (hopefully useful!) words of wisdom and wedding ideas from yours truly!!!
