Pretty Paper Banners |

Hi Buds, here is an easy project for your next party! These banners look great for any occasion: birthday, bachelorette, shower, or even at a wedding.
Step 1:
Grab some coloured cardstock. I used a stack of coloured stock as well as a stack of glitter cardstock. Trace circles with a round object around the house (tomato can, plate, glass, pot lid)

Step 2:
Print out your words in any colour on regular printer paper or stock. Cut around each letter – decorative scissors are a little more fun!

Step 3:
Punch 2 holes in the top of each letter, and string up with ribbon! I would recommend inexpensive ribbon for these (I got mine at the dollar store) to keep costs down – the letters are what shine in this project.

Can you think of where to use these banners? I now have ‘happy birthday’ and ‘happy bachelorette’ signs that I can re-use!

Glad you both like the art! The star piece is oil on canvas by Vancouver artist Bratsa Bonifacho (http://bau-xi.com/dynamic/artist.asp?ArtistID=30). The one above the couch is by Toronto artist Katie Pretti (http://www.katiebondpretti.com/toc.html).
