DIY Invitations: Little Details |
|

I’m a sucker for little details! This weekend I started working away with the black pocketfolds I recently bought from Cards & Pockets.
I added a wide green satin ribbon that wraps the entire way around the invite, with a thinner, darker green ribbon on top of that to tie the invite up:

Those who turn the invitation over will see the little embossed wedding logo:

Embossing a logo or monogram is a great way to add a personal touch. For mine, I had a custom stamp made through an Etsy Seller. I used a neutral stamp colour, black embossing powder, and an embossing tool.

Stay tuned to see the inside of the invitation! Would you like to get this in the mail?

What are the names of those tones of green I’ve been looking and haven’t found them!

I don’t know what the tones are called Brian, everywhere has different names! I found these particular colours in a HUGE ribbon store, but they generally go by grass, moss, chartreuse, olive, apple, etc etc!

These are very nice, I am trying to do something similar also. Can you please tell me what you used to get the top ribbon to stay on top of the bottom ribbon?
Thank so much!
