Ta da! I am so excited to present to you my Boston engagement pictures!!!

Did you know that I found our photographer, Alen Abdula, on Craigslist? Not only professional, he was also extremely laid back. He even brought his wife to help with our session and it was so much fun. He somehow managed to make us look great, despite my red nose and cheeks in the 5 degree weather (Boston had a 5 to 8-inch snow storm the night before our session). Yes, yes, we were crazy for spending 3 hours in and out of the freezing cold, but boy, was it worth it! We were able to capture almost everything I wanted on my “must have” list, except for the subway shots. It was simply too cold to walk to the T (we, mostly Miss Hawaii here, could not endure another minute in the cold!) so we drove to the city instead.
Must have #1: Snow Pictures-Check! In fact, all the pictures were taken outside so plenty of snow in every single picture. I even managed to kanoodle Mr. Mac Nut into making snow angels with me!

Must have #2: Tufts Pictures-Check! Good ol’ Jumbo in the background.

It was slippery on the freshly fallen snow.

Must take #3: Boston Commons-Check! We actually took most of the pictures at the Public Gardens, which is next to the Commons. It was a lot prettier so it worked out well. I love the way he captured our embrace.

The cutest dog ever on the bridge! I’ve always wondered if their little paws get cold in the snow.

“So Boston”…Aaaahlington St.

Near Newbury St: I tried to carry him but alas, I am just too weak.

Lastly, my bride and groom shot: we were practically stripping out of our winter coats on the side of the street into our tank and tshirt. The pictures actually came out great, EXCEPT for the pesky bra strap showing. One of my next projects will be photoshopping excess pieces of clothes out of pictures.

All in all though, I’m really glad I spent $200 for those engagement pictures. Completely worth the price for something so priceless.

I love your pictures! I regret not getting engagement pics. Only nice pics of the Dude and I are in our wedding attire. You will definitely get your $200 out of these. Adorable!

Great photos. Especially the snow picture – as a former New Englander, I can appreciate that! Your ring is beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

These are cute but why are they all so tilted? You look like a very very happy couple – congratulations!
I think your photographer may need to work on his pictures a little? The snow is kid of blue/grey
