Oh my goodness! How did it get here so fast?
These last few weeks have been a blur of wedding planning activities: Researching and buying wedding invitation supplies, designing our invites (still in progress), making appointments, and tasting, tasting, tasting and more tasting!

From ambrosia1.net
That’s right, we had 4 different tasting experiences in 2 weeks! 1 with the caterer for appetizers and meals, and 3 with different bakeries for our cake!
We’ve pretty much decided on the meals for our reception, but still can’t decide on which salad course to serve (antipasto salad with field greens, buffalo mozzarella, kalamata olives, tomatoes, and pepperoncini with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing or field greens with mushrooms, gorgonzola, and candied pecans with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing). Oh, the choices!
From yelp.com
We’re going with a fish and a chicken entrée to give our guests options, and have decided on the Stuffed Chicken breast with Spinach, Prosciutto and Boursin with a Tomato Vodka Cream Sauce and the Baby Haddock Filet with a Pineapple-Mango Salsa. Both are served with roasted herbed red potatoes and julienned spring vegetables with fresh rolls and butter.
We have a package deal with our location/caterer and have the choice of 3 bakeries to make our cake (price included, unless we want to upgrade, then we pay the difference). It’s definitely not a bad deal, but we found each bakery has its pros and cons. More to come on that in a later post.

We’re just excited we are on our way with a lot of the tasks that we had slated for February. The last big item is our officiant, and we are meeting with a woman on Monday, who we have talked with, and will likely be our choice.
