Thinking of Getting Extensions |

Not the type of extensions that I bet popped into your heads. In fact, if I thought I wouldn’t catch hell for cutting all of my hair off right now- I would walk right over to my salon (it’s only 4 blocks from my house) and get some kind ridiculously short, sleek cut.
I have the shortest, stubbiest, most blunt eyelashes EVER. As luck would have it, Pansy Dude has the most luxurious, glamorous, long, beautiful lashes. There is this skin care shop type-place… to be perfectly honest, I don’t even know what to call this place; across the street from my office and they do… duh dah duh duh…EYE LASH EXTENSIONS.
OH YEAH! No more short lashes for this girl! I want them. I’ve decided; I’m going to get them for the wedding. I’m pretty psyched. I think my eyes are my best feature. I want them to really stand out at my wedding and in my pictures. With proper care they can last up to two months, and as I understand it the procedure isn’t painful. Awesome.
I know, you may be thinking… “but they have these single falsies at Sephora that you can do yourself. They’re so much less expensive.” Ahhh yes. I’ve been there tried those. I hate them. I’m an eye rubber for sure- and they never look quite right to me.
Do you know anyone who has had these beauties? How’d they work out?

A friend of mine got these for her wedding and they looked great-BUT-during her 2 week honeymoon, they started falling off in chunks so her eyelashes looked a little bit odd!
Have you looked at Revitalash? It’s a conditioner you put on your lashes every night that helps them grow-I use that and LOVE it!

Won’t these extensions get messed up from rubbing your eyes too? I have never had extensions but I have worn fakies plenty of times including at my wedding. There are many types that are different lengths both across and lash-wise. If they look funny on you, you probably aren’t wearing the right kind. Plus, you don’t want to evaluate yourself in the mirror because that is not what you will look like in pictures. Before spending all the money on the extensions, I suggest doing a makeup consultation with someone who can help you find the best type of lashes for your face and for your pictures.
