I decided to craft away my stress yesterday, and thought I’d share these Valentine’s Day treats with you. These yummy gifts are great for wedding favors, engagement parties, bridal showers, and of course Valentine’s Day.
To make these rose buds you will need the following supplies that I purchased from Michaels:
- Red Cellophane: $3.49
- Twelve 18 Gauge Stem Wires: $1.99
- Floral Tape: $1.69
- Hershey’s Kisses: $2.50 (I used Hugs because they were on sale)
First tape two Hershey’s Kisses together with double sided tape.
Then, cut a 4.5 inch square of cellophane.
Now take a stem wire and place in against the Hershey’s Kiss.
Wrap the cellophane around the Kisses and secure it with the floral tape. Continue wrapping the floral tape part way down the stem until it is tight and secure.
Lastly, tie a bow or a note around the stem where the floral tape stops.
And there you have it!
