Bridesmaid Dress Sage…Continued |

So, in my two recent posts, I was frustrated and panicked about turnaround times and discontinued styles. I think I am finally at a point where I have come to terms with it and am feeling okay about it.
Hydrangea dude’s sister and I went to a bridal shop this weekend and picked out a new style for her top. Frankly, I like it better, and she is happy with it, though I think she would prefer her original choice. Either way, a new style has been chosen, and the order has been placed through the bridal shop to the vendor.
I realized that even if the dresses (separates) take the full 12 weeks and I am already back from my bridal shower trip, it will not cost that much to ship them. And, even if we don’t get that experience of the girls all trying their outfits on together for the first time, it’s okay – it will make the wedding day that much more special and surprising. Thanks to fellow buds, blossoms, and readers for calming me down and putting it into perspective. It’s really not that bad.

Though I will still say to everyone planning on ordering attire – order early, check back often, and go with the flow. You may find that the road bump actually takes you on a scenic detour that you would have never seen otherwise. I got to go on a bonding shopping trip with my fiance’s mom and sister, she now has a top that I think looks better on her, and it will all work out in the end, even if I end up paying extra for shipping.

I’m glad you are coming to terms with your dress dilemma. When things get bad, you can always say “they could be worse.”
