Bachelorette Party Ideas |

My sister in law is getting married this summer, and I have been thinking of fun bachelorette party ideas just in case they are needed. If you are an involved (controlling) bride, you can suggest a few of these to your own bridal brigade. Here’s what I have so far:
Attire
A must have for the bride-to-be and the entourage. There are a ton of options on the web ranging from cute to raunchy. I love the idea of team t-shirts.
It is also necessary to dress up the bride-to-be to an embarrassingly tacky degree. I’m thinking a feather boa, crown or veil, and a plastic ring.
Games
Most of the games I found involved doing something or other with a male organ, such as Pin the Hose on the Fireman and Bachelorette Ring Toss. If your bride is more conservative, I did find a bachelorette edition of Mad Libs.
Food & Drinks
There are all sorts of candy, food, and cake pans specially ‘designed’ for bachelorette parties. My favorite is the MacAwennie pasta. The name just cracks me up! Drinks are also a must have at every bachelorette party. If we do a pub crawl, I was thinking the bride-to-be would like a shot glass wedding ring.
What ideas do you have for a bachelorette party? I want to show my sister in law a great time!

I just planned my friend’s bachelorette party that took place last week, and it was a blast! Depending on what type of party the bride is comfortable with, is how you will guide your planning. My friend wanted something fun and a bit wild. So I booked tables at some popular bars around town, along with a scavenger hunt that took place at each location. They included things like dance with a bald man, etc….Harmless, but fun activities.
I also had group t-shirts custom-made. They were a hit! I designed white tank tops that said “Beware. Bachelorette Party on the Loose!” I ordered the shirts from BridalPartyTees.com, but you can hand-make them (if you’re crafty). The bride also wore a custom-made sash that said “Buy me a shit, I’m tying the knot”. It was gear for a great night out!
Before hitting the town, we treated ourselves to dinner at a nice seafood restaurant…It was a great time!
If you’re looking for more ideas, I found several sites to be really helpful, especially BridalParty, some useful ideas can be found at http://www.bridalpartytees.com/?page=Bachelorette Party.
Hope this helps! Good Luck, and Have Fun!
