I think it'll be similar in that each individual will look to ways to honour their own cultural background above all else. In my case, my family is Dutch, but my Oma insists that there are no Dutch traditions that I need to utilize...I'm going to try anyway. I know it may happen a lot there but it was the first big family trip( I have an 8 year old) we took together... and he asked me and my son to marry him at the way tippy top of the C N Tower... IT was the most romantic and special thing in my life... I thought I would share with you that. Good luck on your planning. I am getting married this July.
