This is a quick and easy how-to guide to create your very own wedding inspiration board.
Total cost = $30. Project Time = 30 minutes. Cuteness and Functionality = Priceless!
To create the magnetic board, you will need to following supplies: One 8×10 picture frame, one roll of Adhes-A-Mag, and if black doesn’t match your frame, one large sheet of colored scrapbook paper.
First, you remove the glass from the picture frame and use it to trace out your piece of magnet.
Cut out the piece and stick it onto the glass. In order to prevent air bubbles, stick it on very slowly and run a ruler across the magnet as you unroll. It doesn’t matter if the magnet is a little crooked because the frame will hide any minor mistakes.
If you do not want your magnetic board to be black, wrap a piece of large scrapbook paper around it.
Now place it back into the frame, and you are ready to great your little magnets. You will need 1.5 inch clothes pins, various patters and colors of scrapbook paper, small circular magnets, and super glue. The adhesive magnetic strips do not work because they aren’t strong enough to stay on the board. You need really strong little magnets. The ones I picked were so strong that I couldn’t get them to lay next to each other, so in this picture those are actually three magnets stuck together.
First you trace the clothespin on the back of all of the pieces of paper, and cut out the traced pieces.
Now glue the traced piece onto one side of the clothespins.
Then glue the magnets to the back on the clothespins. Be sure to use really strong glue so you don’t accidentally pull off the clothespins when you remove them from the magnetic board.
And that’s it! You have your very own inspiration board!

So Cute! The girl that started that washi clothespin actually began her business in Hawaii…a friend of my bridesmaid. Yup, the island is THAT small. Great idea. I will try it out after the wedding.
